A depiction of boys clothing is seen here in the modern stained glass windows of Holy Trinity Church, West Runton, England. The church can be found in the county of Norfolk and like many others of its type it has some of the finest 20th century stained glass. As seen here the artist Hugh Easton has captured much of 1950s fashion in his design. Easton has given us an insight into generations of the parish who worshiped Christ at the Eucharist. He's encapsulated several time periods from the time of medieval knights through to the Regency and Victorian periods and then onto 1950s England. In the latter he's given great emphasis on the family. He illustrates a small boy holding his mother's hand, while another shows a much older boy with a football. As can be seen the younger boy is wearing a T-shirt and shorts, while his elder brother wears a long sleeved sports shirt and shorts. Both boys look to be wearing slippers with no stockings. The girl wears a gymslip.
