Figure 1.--This is last painting we know of by Jury Raksha. Many of his paintings are historical. This one. 'Little Bathers' is personal, done in 1979. It is a portrait of his daughter, the girl in the center. The painting is so full of life. Tragically, Raksha tragically died of cancer the following year.

This is last painting we know of by Jury Raksha. Many of his paintings are historical. This one. 'Little Bathers' is personal, done in 1979. It is a portrait of his daughter, the girl in the center. The painting is so full of life. Tragically, Raksha tragically died of cancer the following year. We are not sure how accessable heated indoor pools were to the Soviet people at the time.
