She moved to Belgium when she was 11 years old. And later she moved to America. In Chicago she began exploring hip-hop nusic and the emerging sounds of 'house' music). Later she moved to Dallas, Texas. Finally she returned to Belgium. She was part of a group forming the hip hop label Fresh Beat Productions. She also participated in a dance project known as Technotronic This group debuted with a major worldwide hit, 'Pump Up the Jam' (1989).
