This snapshot is dated 1932 and taken in Brussels. The three boys seem to be brothers, aged "about 8-12 years ofge. We don't know the names of these boys. They are dressed almost identically for a cold winter day with matching double breasted overcoats. Underneath they seem to be wearing short pants suits with dress shirts and neckties. The boy on the left is wearing a scarf unlike his brothers. The boys all wear long dark stockings with their short pant suits. You can see the hem of the shorts most clearly on the boy on the right, but all three boys are wearing long stockings. The photograph was clearly taken outdoors against a brick wall. There seems to be some sort of canvas or leather backdrop over the wall. I hav no idea wht that was about, it seems to casually hung to be any kind of photographic backdrop. Notice the matching caps. They seem to be rather a cross between a British peaked school cap and the flat caps popular at the time. Presumably the three boys were on some sort of outing in Brussels and were photographed by their parents or by an older friend.
