As far as we know, boys' activities in Slovakia are similar to those in neigboring countries. The same is true for the clothing associated with those activitie. We do not yet have an adequate image archive to assess Slovak activities, but we hope to persue this subject over time. Here we see what looks like a Slovak party with the costumed children children performing some kind of skit or dance. we do not yet have any information on Slovak schools. We do have some information on hoidays. Christmas is an especially important holiday. Christmas is celebrated on the evening of December 24. Slovaks have a large family dinner after which the presents are opened. Many traditional families attend a Catholic church service. Christmas Day is dedicated to visiting families and friends, often complaining of eating too much.
