Butterick Pattern for Little Boys Suits (1960s)

Figure 1.--We note a Butterick pattern for little boys suits without lapels. Butterick was one of the major American pattern companies. Pattern 2831 provided patterns for sewing a boy's suit jacket and suspender pants. Little boys suit jackets were common done without lapels. The pants could be done as either short or long pants. Mothers could either sew the entire suit, or just the suspender pants. The pattern here is for age 3, but it was available for boys 2-8 years old.
