Prince Adalbert Prinz von Bayern was born at Nymphenburg, Germany (1886). His father was Ludwig Ferdinand Prinz von Bayern (1859-1949).
Adalbert was related to King Ludwig I through his father. His mother was the Spanish princess Maria de la Paz de Borbón y de Borbón, Infanta de España (1862-1946). We know nothing of his childhood at this time. He married Auguste Gräfin von Seefried auf Buttenheim, daughter of Otto Graf von Seefried auf Buttenheim and Elisabeth Marie Prinzessin von Bayern, at Salzburg, Austria (1919). They had two children: Konstantin Prinz von Bayern (1920-69) and Alexander Prinz von Bayern (1923). Prince Adalbert died at age 84 (1970).
