Tights: Musical Recitals

Tights have been worn for dress occasions such as music recitals. HBC has noted Japanese boys wearing tights as Suzuki violin recitals. Japanese boys in Suzuki recitals usually wore white shirts, ties, blue short pants, and white kneesocks. Some boys wore tights, black and wite tights were the most common. Other colors, however, were also worn. We believe that they were worn in other countries, but few details are available at this time.
