FSE Explorers a Canadian: Activities

Figure 1.--Here we see a group of FSE Canada Timber Wolves on a trip to Europe. I'm not sure just where they are here, perhaps Rome.

This FSE Canada Explorer movement is a very active one with program intensity and complexity increasing, as the youth grow older in age and experience. The program for the younger children is more home based and increasingly adventuresome as the children get older. There is an important emphasis on travel and outdoor activities, especially camping. Examples of program activities for Otters, Timber Wolves, Explorers, and Wayfarers include the following.

Age Based Activity Program

The FSE Explorer Canada program is age based. Each level of the FSE group has its own program tailored to the needs and abilities of the children involved.

Otters

FSE Otters meet weekly which include games and fun. here are short term camping trips (in buildings). Otters make many Outings and day trips. There are also faith activities, crafts, stories, songs, and building projects. The program includes progressive badge achievement program . All the badges earned are worn on the uniform.
