Sweaters

We apologize that Harrods have been unable to supply some of the larger sizes of the navy-blue woolen jersey -- an essential garment in everyday use. We are assured, however, that they will have sufficient stocks for next term.

Fire (Tony's Jumper)

Tony was walking down the road and he spotted a bush fire so he took off his jumper and en to a stream. He put his jumper into the stream nd ran back. The fire had been going for some time. He tried to put it out but he could not so he ran as fast as he could to the telephone box and rang the fire brigade.

"Hello," he said "Sir, I was walking and spotted a bush fire. I tried putting it out with my jumper but I could not".

The fireman said "What is the road called, son?"

"Bust Road, Sir," Tony replied.

"I'll be over tere in ten minutes or so," he said.

Ten minutes was a bit too much and suddenly a flame shot at the boy. He rolled on the grass and he was lucky to be alive at that moment.

String Purses

It has been suggested that girls might have with them some sort of string purse. In this way they could have a comb and a handkerchief readily available, indeed a Mark Card too.

Looking Back

The last two weeks of term I spent all my free time looking for my black shoes.
