Presidential Election of 2016

lamboyant businessman Donald Trump was elected to the astonisment of the nation was elected by varrying what the Democrats thought was the solid Upper Midwest--something almost all the press thought was impossible. He put together a coalition of small businessmen, evagelicals, and worhers who had concluded that the Democratic Party was more interested in coasastal elites and globelizatiion than in protecting their jobs.

Presidency

From the moment President Trump was elected, the Democratic Party, the Deep State, and the media launched an effort to impeach him based on phoney doissiers, unconstituional Deep State investigatiins, and run-away Congressiinal actiions. This was essentially a coup d-Etat to take the choice of president out of the hands of voters. The Democrats in Congress keep proclaiming that the President is not above the law, oblivious to the fact that Congress is also not above the law. They initiated impeachment procedings in secret in the basement of the Capitol. The President has launched major changes in domestic policies, the military, and foreign relations. Essentially challenging the main-stream orthodoxy of the liberal establishment (politicans , meddia, Hollywood, and academia). Domestic policy has included the economy, immigration, the Federal courts, civil liberties, energy, prison reform, and other issues. The President has obrained the funding for critically needed military funding, vital in a very dangerous world. Foreign relations issues have included trade, climate, Europe, the Middle East, North Korea, and Venezuela. The Democrats have sharply criticized President Trump on all of his manay initatives. Sone of the results are now coming in and the dire presictions that began the day after he was elected have not proven out. In fact, the economy has been achieving some very impressive improvements in jobs, unemployment, family wealth, trade, and otherceconomic indicators. And we see promesing trends on the world scene.

Domestic policies

The President has launched major changes in domestic policies, the military, and foreign relations. Essentially challenging the main-stream orthodoxy of the liberal establishment (politicans , meddia, Hollywood, and academia). Domestic policy has included the economy, immigration, the Federal courts, civil liberties, energy, prison reform, and other issues.

Military

The President has obrained the funding for critically needed military funding, vital in a very dangerous world.

Foreign Policy

The Constitution gives the President greater authority in foreign relations than domestic policy and we thus see the President taking bold steps in foreign policy. He has unhinged the established and failed orthodoxy of President Obama and his predecesors which was basically appeasement of both adversaries and allies. President Obama when he met with President Trump pn election day warned him that the greatest challenge he faced was North Korea and its growing nuclear arsenal. The Mainstream media would soon be lambasying President Trump on North Korea. Never mentioned was it was President Obama and his predecessors that allowed North Korea to acquire nuclear weapos through a policy of appeasement. The Obama Administration did begin a pivot to Asia, belatedly seeing China the free world's challenge of the 21st century. President Obama adopted no effectivec policies, only ineffectuslly sailing a few U.S. Navy ships through the South China Sea. President Trump has in sharp contrast to the liberal establishment took on these and other foreign policy challenges Trump despite the liberal carping from the Liberal estanishment that he was a bafoon, understood that America wasnot usingv its fundamental strength--free market capitalism which coild be exertedcthrough the use of tariffs and other economic levers. The same people who had failed on all fronys for several decades insisted that he was launching trade wars and threatening an economic disaster. Now with new trade deals in place with most of our major trade oarners (Canada, China, Japan, Korea, and Mexico), the President has proved his critics wrong. The same peopple who insusted that his election would lead to economic disaster from which America would never recover.

Impeachment

From the moment President Trump was elected, the Democratic Party, the Deep State, and the media launched an effort to impeach him based on phoney doissiers, unconstituional Deep State investigatiins, and run-away Congressiinal actiions. This was essentially a coup d-Etat to take the choice of president out of the hands of voters. The Democrats in Congress keep proclaiming that the President is not above the law, oblivious to the fact that Congress is also not above the law. They initiated impeachment procedings in secret in the basement of the Capitol. After the House finally voted, Speaker Perlosi understanding the Bills of Impeachment were weak tried to force the Senare to adopt the same parisan oprocessc pursued in the Senate by delaying delivery of the Bills. This ultimately failed because the Democrats insisted that the President was so dangerous that the procees had to be rushed. So she could hardly delay it longer. Once faced with a fair process, the case agaibsr the President which they described as solid and proven was seen to be weak and partisan. The Senate quickly acquittedcthe President. Speaker Pelosi is left only with the refe=rain that the President will always be impeaxhed. She is correct, but it is also true the Democrats will always have a history of weaponising the impeachment process for political gain.
