Renoir's painted "Sailor Boy", a portrait of Robert Nunes. We do not yet have detailson the portrait. I do not yet have information on just who he was. It is a wonderful image of a French boy wearing a blue kneepants sailor suit. It is easily identifiable as a French image because of the destinctive cp with the red pom on it. Interestingy, Renoir's son Claude was painted wearing a suit just like this.
