While we do not know the identity of the group, the album provides scenes of a range of activities. We do see the boys involved in a range of activities, includng hiking and camping. We also notice the boys rock climbing and just having fun. They appear to be the standard activities persued by youth groups around the world. Here we see a camp site that the boys are preparing (figure 1). All we can tell about the activity progrm is what we can make out in the images. The views here seem more intimate than many of the Hitler Youth images, many of which were taken by professional photographers.
The boys are preparing a camp site. You can see that some of the tents have been pitched (figure 1). Given the number of boys we would guess that they are just beginning. They are in a clearing surrounded by trees. The boy have pitched some of their tents. And they are grouped together, I assume planning the rest of the day.
Here we see two boys doing a little rock climbing. Note that there is no saftey gear. I'm not sure how high up they plan on going. The boys look to be just horseing around rather than ebgaged in a serious supervised activity. The rock face, however, does seem to go quite a ways up the cliff.
