Year 10 students are allowed more elective subjecrs and as a result more art courses are available for them.
Entry Requirements: Form 3 Art or discretion of teacher
Cost: $3.50
Students must provide: an art envelope, A3 pad & B-B6 pencil, set of paints and pastels for all 3 modules.
Purpose: To use the workbook format in developing ideas and resources for art making, and to use a variety of drawing and printing media.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this modulestudents should be able to:
Content: Nature study (texture/tone/composition), trees, shells, seedpods, flax. Landscape - field trip. Architecture - photoboard and local Winton architecture. Artist study.

Purpose: To further develop picture making skills in drawing and to introduce students to painting techniques and media. Unit includes formal studies of composition, viewpoint, use of perspective.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this module students should be able to:
Content: Artist study. Themes - figure, interior, still life. Painting techniques.
Entry Requirements: Art 41 and 42
Cost: $3.50
Purpose: To explore the possibilities ui design and the practicability of constructing/modelling a 31) art work, using a variety of sculptural media.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this module students should be able to:
Content: A selection of practical work, eg. construction, carving, modeling.
