This is the music courses available to second year students at most secondary school. Second year students have a little more time for elective courses, so only three courses might be offered, depending on the size of the school.

Mus 41: Performance of Music

Entry Requirements: It is recommended that Option music students have iteneratate private music lessons on their chosen instrument.

Cost: Varies

Purpose: This course will provide students with the skills, understanding and values of a wide range of musical styles through integrating Create, Recreate (perform)b and Appreciate activities.

Learning Outcomes: : By the end of this module students should be able to:

Content: Group performance. Composition. Aural perception. Musical knowledge. Music theory.


Mus 42: Performance Music
