This is the music courses available to third year students at most secondary school. Third year students have a more time for elective courses, so more courses might be offered, depending on the size of the school.

Mus 51: Performance Music

Entry Requirements: Mis 43. It is also required that Option music students have itinerant private music lessons on their chosen instrument.

Cost: Varies

Purpose: This course will provide students with the skills, understanding and values of a wide range of musical styles through integrating Create, Recreate (perform) and Appreciate activities.

Learning Outcomes: : By the end of this module students should be able to:

Content: Individual performance. Group performance. Group participation. Composition. Aural perception. Musical knowledge. Music theory.

Mus 52: Performance Music
