I am not entirely sure about open days. I think they are similar to Sports Day because there are athletic competitions involved. Unlike Sports Day, the sporting events are not the main focus of the day. It is an opportunity for the children to show their parents around the school and see some of the children's work. Itvis also an opportunity for prospective parents to learn a little about the school.

Open Day

It was exciting and great fun. When I ran, I ran as fast as I could and when I reached the finishing line I was puffed. When we had got changed after the sport I showed my Grandma and Granddad in the front rooms and they liked it. They saw the work we did on butterflies, the life of a frog, the maths, the book reviews and Beatrix Potter pictures.
