Another common everday garment was grey shirts. They do not show the dirt like the white shirts worn for more casual occassions. Some schools have the boys wear casual shirts, although casual shirts like polo shirts are not common. A few schools use light-weight collon shorts rather than heacvier wight terryln or corduroy shorts. Quite a number of schools have the boys wear ankle socks rather than knee soks during the summer.
