Belgian Sailors Suits: The Late 1940s

Figure 1.--We believe that these Belgian brothers were photographed in the post-World War II period, perhaps the late 1940s. The boys' suit are done in the button-style and there is a small breast pocket. The boys look to be abour 4-6 years old.

We have received two images of two Belgian brothers with their grandmother wearing identical white long pants sailor suits. The images have traditional styling and a white dickey. They are not wearing caps with their sailor suits. The images are undated, but we believe that they like post-World War II images, perhaps the late 1940s. Both the style of the photograph and their grandmother's dress looks like the late 1940s to us. The boys' suit are done in the button-style and there is a small breast pocket. The boys look to be abour 4-6 years old.
