FSE Explorer Candad are involved in a wide range of specific activities. Yhere is a strong emphasis on traditional Scouting activities in the FSE program. There are games at the weekly meetings as well as at camp. There is a badge program to promote learning activities. Crafts are promoted and skills developed. Outings and trips help members learn about and experience the world around them. This includes both hiking and camping as well as field trips to interesting sites and travel. Guest speakers are invited to meetings to explore topics of interest to young people. There is also an active summer camp program.

FSE puts an emphasis on traditional Scouting activities like camping. Here their summer camp provides the facilities land needed for a range of camping experiences.
Crafts are promoted and skills developed.
Outings and trips help members learn about and experience the world around them. Field trips are arranged to interesting local sites and attractions. Many of the trips are educational. There are also trips arranged just for fun such as to amusement parks. Trips like this are especially popular with the younger boys.

Nature outings are an especially popular activity with the FSE Explorers. The summer camp provides wonderful opportunities for such experiences. Nature outings, however, are not just limited to the summer camp. Canada has some wonderful national parks offering nature adventures.

FSE Explorrs have an active summer camp program. Here a group of Timber Wolves check out an obstacle course at summer camp (figure 1) The FSE Explorers have their own summer camp. The camp greatly facilitates the ability to persue a rabge of traditional Scouting activities. The camp has a range of facilities. One popular attraction is an obstacle course. The boys also do some of their own building.
