Individual Biographies: Frank Bierbower (United States, 1880s?)

Figure 1.--This cabinent card shows Frank Bierbrower. We are guessing at his first name, it is not very clearly written on the back of the card. He is wearing a long plaid dress which comes down to his nkles. I'm not sure hy many dresses were made so long. Perhaps so he could wear it a few years. He looks to be about 3-4 years old. Mother has chosen a plaid bow rather than a contrasting one. He was the son of Martha Brownback and Penrose Bierbrower. Frank was photographed at Lachman's Studio in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The portrait is undated, but looks to have been taken in the 1880s.
