Here we see a Parian boy in an undated image. He wears a high-waisted lacy dress with baloon sleeves. Nitice the necklace and hairbow. We believe that the portrait was made about 1900. The little Parisian boy's name is Andre Poirgets. He was 20 months old. It appears that at this age at least, French boys and girls wore the same style dresses and hair. This photo is an example of how ringlet curls were not as popular in France as in Britain and America. They were in fact called English curls.
