Apparently, pajamas were also becoming acceptable for women and girls. While most of the pajamas here were for men and boys, there were also a few pajamas for young women as well. We ae not sure just the age equivalents were for bust sizes 30 to 38 were. We believe it was primarily teen agers. The basic styles and colors seem very similar to those offered for boys. Notice the oriental styling.
The Best ad copy read, " All White Madras Pajamas, pearl buttons and frogs. ... $1.35."
The Best ad copy read, "Fancy Woven Madras, pretty stripes on white grounds, neatly trimmed with pearl buttons and frogs. ... $1.90." As far as we can tell, the stripes on the boys and girls' pajamas were the same. They were described as neat for the boys and pretty for the girls. But I think tht they were the same.
The Best ad copy read, " Imported Scotch Madras, colored stripes on white ground, also white. ... $2.50."
The Best ad copy read, "Soiesette Pajamas in blue and pink, peart buttons and frogs. ... $2.25."
