Here we have another white American middy blouse. It is all white without any detailing. This one is intersing because you can see how a draw string cretate the blousing effect seen in manu period portraits. The blouse is undated, but probably dated to the 1920s. The dealer describes it as, "A wonderful vintage sailor-type child's shirt. The shirt appears to be a small child size and measures 14" across the shoulders and 16" from collar to hem. It laces at the front collar and also on each side at the bottom. The back has the familiar sailor collar flap that is ready to sail. The color is a nice antique deep ivory with some tea-type stains which adds to the vintage charm."
