I think the children may be German, although they look rather English. The children are not identified. They look like a sister and brother to us. The child on the right looks to be a boy. While he is not identified, his hair style and facial features look very boyish to us. Also the way he is holding his hands seems rather boyish. With younger children, facial features can be misdleading, but the child looks like a boy to us. The children look to be about 13 and 8 years of age. They wear identical dresses with white long stockings, and colored strap shoes. The dresses are very simply done with a small collar in contrasting colors, short sleeves, and a waist gathering. I'm not sure about the color. There was a kind of string tie added. The only obvious difference I can see is the color of their strap shoes. The girl also seems to have alightly higher heel than the strap shoes children commonly wear. Also their long stockings may be a slightly different shade. This image is rather surprising. Boys this age no longer commonly wore dresses in the 1920s. We can only guess that the children here came from a wealthy family and were being tutored at home,
