'The Trouble With Harry' is a dark comedy set in rural Vermont. The film begins wjen a small boy playing in the woods discovers a dead man'a body in the countryside. Suspicion falls on several of the townspeople. The corpse is buried and dug up several times to 'uncover' clues. The boy
is played by film unknown Jerry Mathers who 2 years later in 1957 would become Beaver Cleaver in the classic Amrican TV series 'Leave it to Beaver'. In his role in 'Harry' the 6 or 7 years old Jerry wore a "T" style shirt with blue horizontal stripes, brown boxer shorts (the HBC reader prioviding this review remembers wearing shorts like these when he was 6 or 7), blue ankle socks, and black and white saddle oxfords.
Jerry's role is not prominent in the film, but he have a few scenes in which he acts very well.
