I have no information specifically on the Le Choeur d'Enfants de
Belgique (CEB). The photograph is a postal card identifying the choir, but I have no information on it. The crest suggests it is the choir of
Lessines College.
A HBC reader confirms that the "le choeur d'enfants de Belgique" and "les petits chanteurs de Lessines" are two names for the
same choir. The second name is the the initial name.
The CEB choir uniform is the standard one for French catholic college
(elementary/high school) school boys: blue sweaters, white
shirts worn without ties, blue short pants, white kneesocks, and black
leather shoes. In the 1980s the uniforms began to change and now the
boys mostly wear long pants--including the choir boys.
We had thought that the choir stopped its activities about 1995, but Les Petits Chanteurs de Lessines, the current name for the choir, informs us that they remain active.
