The choir in the 1970s adopted a vest, apparently in 1973. They were dark blue or black vests matching the short pants. The vest was worn with the choir crest. It has a yellow background. We have noted some photographs in which the boys appear to be wearing very large crests on their vests. Sone images show the vests to be double breasted or at least wkith two columns of buttons. We are not sure if they were all like that.The choir wore the vest with short pants and white kneesocks until 1988. The vests in 1988 were replaced with short red jackets.
