Viki is for the first time pictured in a naval cadet iniform. Pisti appears to have finished his training and received his commission. He wears an actual officer's uniform--notice the sword. He also seems to have a hint of a mustache. Fredy and Villy are dressed in identical white sailor suits with traditional styling. The older boys had quite varied outfits when they were younger. The younger boys seem to only wear sailor suits. Villy wears his kneepants sailor suit with black long stockings. Presumably Fredy does also. Note that the boys wear balack stockings even with their white summer suits. The boys do not now have close cropped hair, now enough hair to actually comb. A HBC reader writes, "I would also note Villy's stocking length is just above his knee. You can see the top of the stockings on his left leg." [HBC note: "At the time boys wore knee pants that came down to their knees. Thus long stockings were made to come just above the knee. Later when boys began wearing shorter short pants, long stockings were made longer.]
