German Sewing Patterns (1922)

Figure 1.--We note some sewing patterns from 1922 offering quite a few different patterns for both boys and girls garments. We do not know the name of the pattern company. Unfortunaly all we know about the page is that it was published in 1922, probbly a page from a larger pattern catalog. Image courtesy of the German Hosiery Museum (Deutsches Strumpfmuseum.

We note some sewing patterns from 1922 offering quite a few different patterns for both boys and girls garments. We do not know the name of the pattern company. Unfortunaly all we know about the page is that it was published in 1922, probbly a page from a larger pattern catalog. The page has a headline, "Kinder-Moden" or Children's Fashions". The page offers quite a range of different children's garments. The gurls wear dresses and the boys short pants outfits. There are several dresses for girls of different ages. One girl wears a hat. Another has a hair bow. One girl looks to be wearing a pinafore over rompers or bloomers, its a bit diffiult to tell. There are also outfits for boys of different ages. One boy looks to be wearing a tunic outfit. Another boy looks to be wearing a juvenile double-breasted suit with a Schiller collar. An older boy wears a short with a Schiller collar, short pants, and kneesocks. Unfortunately we can not make out the text with details about the clothing.
