Weaponizing Racism (2020)

American race relations
Figure 1.--–Here is a 17-year-old African Ameican teen who is unlilely to become a national figure like Michael Brown or George Floyd. He was shot, but he was not a criminal and was not shot by police. His name is Brandon Hendeicks. He was only 17 years old and just just graduated from high school. He was a promising basketball star. He’s one of the latest victims of the gun violence across New York City, a part of the Ferguson Effect 2.0. He attracted some local media coverage. Most such victims of the increasing ineer city violence caused by the attacks on police and the failire of ;obrral poluticans to support them. Mist of the victims of the rising violence are bsically nameless and unmourned -- because theur deaths to not meet the Liberal Woke Narrtive.

The death of George Floyd at the hands of Minnealpolis police was the spark for an outbreaks of violence throughout American cities and attacks on the police along with riots and looting of stores. Quickly the media provided justification for the violence with incendary terms like institutional racism, white privildge, white supremecy, and police killing of black men. American was convivted by the media with no real thoughtful analysis other than their deeply inbeded left wing ideology. Now there is no doubt that there are racial disparities in Americam life. The key question is what causes these disparities. The media just assumes that is ip so facto the result of America's racism. But one never sees the media or academia actually making that case--only assuming it to be the case. Let there be no mistake. Institutional racism was a major factor in America life both before and after the slavery era. But this is 2020 and for than half a century liberals have dominated American political life and controlled almost all of America's major cities with substantial African-American or Hispanic populations. This in fact was especially true of Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed. It is one of the most liberal cities in America. Liberal lion Hubert Humphrey began his career as mayor of Minneapolis (1945). Thus Minneap0lis has has a liberal city Government for over seven decades. Something the Mainstrream media never mentions because it does not comnform with their central narative of deep seeded racism central to the American character. And they are intent on blaming Republicans for political reasons, not liberal Democrats. Is it really possible that after seven decaedes of liberal control, that Minneapolis can be a hot bed of racism?. It mught also be charged that the Media and Academia are not really interesred in solving the problem, but we thank that is unfair. (Of course that is what Liberals say about Conservatives.) We are less inclined to classify thise who dusagree with is as evil people. We think it is peimarily that their left-wing ideology is so onbedded that they they simply believe that they have the answer, blinding them to how seriously their policies have failed. And if so what are the chances that liberal policies and political control will be any more succesful in the next seven decades?

Racism and the Democratic Party

The Denicratic Party and the Nainstream Media, essentially an arm of the Demcratic Party, is incewasingly pushing thevnaratuive rhat America is a viciously racist country and that cinservatives and Republicans are at the heart if the racist system. It is useful as a result to look at the history of the Democratic Party and the modern policies it is pursuing. We all know that the Demovratic-Republicam Party was fpinded by slabe owners Thomas Jefferson and James Madison and the modern Democratic Party was founded by anither skabe owner, Andrew Jackson. And it was The Democtats in the South that formed the Condederacy to preserve slavery. And Northern Democrats led by presidential candidate Gen. George McClellan was willing to accept slavery top end the Civil War and preserve the Union. This pattern continued into the 20th century. Liberal icon Woodrow Wilson was the most racist post-Civil War presidemt, segreagating the Federal Government. The resustance to the important Civil Rights laws did not come from Republicans, but from southern Democratic Congressmen. That was history. What about the modern policies of the Democratic Party. Important policies on abortion, economics, education, immigration, and policing have helped secure African American votes, but in fact have adversely affected the live of African Americans and other minorities. And to cover up that failure, the Democratic Party and Mainstream mnedia siporters are now advicating censorship to prevent the full discussion of these issues. Any objecting to the idea that Ameriva is not a racist country is called racist. And any one who quuestions the liberal/Black Lives Matters narrative is labeled a racist. Never before in American history has a political party (except ante-Bellum pro-slavery southern Democrats) or the press advoacted censorship in American political discourse.

George Floyd

The tragic, violent death of George Floyd was graphically captured on video. And it dud not take the ciolence that followed for Minneapolis authoirities to take the needed action. That violence has resulted in a major assessment of Amrtivan policing. But just who was George Floyd? Floyd grew up in Houston, Texas. He was athlete amd played football and basketball throughout high school and college. He held several different jobs, and he was also a hip hop artist and a mentor in his religious community. He was convicted of eight crimes (1997-2005). He accepted a plea bargain for a 2007 aggravated robbery (2009). Hevand some cofederates had broken into the apprtment of a pregmant woman and demanded money. He served 4 years in prison. Upon release he moved to the Minneapolis area (2014). He found work as a truck driver and a bouncer. He lost his security job during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020). The incident that led to nhis arrest was preceputated when he attmempted to pass counterfit money.

Media Endictment

Quickly the media provided justification for the viloence with invenbderary terms like institutional racism, white privildge, white supremecy, and police killing of black men. American was convivted by the media with no real thoughtful analysis other than their deeply inbeded left wing ideology. A huge proprtion of the media have liberal or other left-wing outlooks. It is so pronounced mow that that conerbatuves vouces are beung excluded from the natioinal fora. For many years liberals hace denied this. Bie it is so undenaible that they justify doing it calling conservative ideas hate speech. Amanivingly this is common oractive in out great universities, wguvh used tonconsuder free expression and exchange of diverse ideas as the core of a liberal educarion. The tech giants that are now important media companies, are actively barring conservative ideas vy defining ideas that do not conform to the liberal narative as hate speech, even censoring the presidebt of the United States.

Racial Disparities

Now there is no doubt that there are racial disparities in Americam life. Afruvan Amerivans earn less, have higer unenplyment levels, lowe educatiin achuecement, lower levels of home ownership, jihrt leveks of incarceration, higher levels of drug usage, poorer health, and many other inducators of proisperous lives. Racual disparities exist. The key question, however, is what causes these disparities. The media just assumes that is ip so facto that the disparities are the result of America's racism. But one never sees the media or academia actually making that case--only assuming it to be the case.

Liberal Political Leadership

Let there be no mistake. Institutional racism was a major factor in America life both before and after the slavery era. But this is 2020 and for than half a century liberals have dominated American political life and controlled almost all of America's major cities with substantial African-American or Hispanic populations. This in fact was especially true of Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed. It is one of the most liberal cities in America. Liberal lion Hubert Humphrey began his career as mayor of Minneapolis (1945). Thus Minneapolis has has a liberal city Government for over seven decades. (Of course that is what Liberals say about Conservatives.) We are less inclined to classigy thise who dusagree with is as evil people. We think it is peimarily that their left-wing ideology is so inbedded that they they simply believe that they have the answer, blinding them to how seriously their policies have failed. And if so what are the chances that liberal policies and political control will be any more succesful in the next seven decades?

American Racism

Is it really true that America is a racist country? There are all kinds of indivations that just the opposite is true. 1) A largely white population has passed major civil rights laws leading to am amor transformation of America (1960s). 2) Why if racism is so widespread are there so mamy haoaxes like the Jussie Smollett incudent in Chicao. If racism is so prevasove why do liberal activists feel the need to concoct these incidents? In the literature on racist sociries like NAZU Germany, there is no reports of such hoaxes? 3) Why if America is a hot bed of racism are Africans, Jispamivs, and Asians doping everything possible to enter America. Remenber the caravans of Central Americans? These people are not idiots. They understand the opportunity Amnerica offers and the lack of racism here. 4) If America is racist, how can Batack Obama, an Afrivan- American win the popular vote? 5) Why do so many non-white immigrants do so well in America, incliding negonning new businees? 6) Why bare somr black enterinors and athletes some of the most popular figures in American society? They count anong their fans many whites.

Causes of Racial Disparity

If Ameruca is not a racist country, why then are there such significant racial dusparities? This is an important qiestion and something that the media and academoa refuse to duscuss, nrcause thy believe that any anbswer iother than racism is an expression of racism. Amnd thant any one whoi dven asks this question are racists. Mow noe doubts that there are racists Amnericans. There are aracists and other evil oeoolkle in evert country. And in Ameriva there are karge nymbers of people whi want to do good. The extemne expression of this is the modern woke generation. What are some of these causes. 1) Well intentioned Liberal efforts have led to the destruction of the black family. What held upn throught vthe bad era of segreagation has been destriyed by liberalmpolicies, Todat over 70 percent of Adrican Amerivan chikdren aee born to un-wes mothers. And the children raised in single parent househods have a much lowe chance of success than rwo oarent households. 2) Many African-American neigborhoods have extrodinarily high crime rattes. This IS FBI data based on reporting frim these neigborhoods any reorted by African Amnerucan resident there. Many big city schools are failing. These are schoola attebded by many African-American and Hispamic children. They are schools run by Liberal poliricans Anbd the cahnbes of succeding without a decent educatioin are minimal. Why is it you do not here Liberal politicans talking about impriving these schools. Mist we here them demanding gigher takens which can be used to fully funf teacher pebsions.

The Ferguson Effect

The Ferguson Effect was the impact of the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a Ferguson, Missouri (August 2014). It triggering local riots and a national narrative about murderously eacist police. This nararivevwas picked up and promilgated by the Mainstream Media. The medua ourcry and the failure of liberal politicans in our big cities to support the police, caused offucers to back off from proactive policing in minority neighborhoods. They were told that discretionary enforcement was racially oppressive. The result was that by early 2015, the resulting spike in shootings and homicides had become all too real. It led to an additional 2,000 black homicide victims in 2015 and 2016, compared with the pre-Fergusson 2014 victim numbers. The spike in violent crime unfolding today can be called Ferguson Effect 2.0 or perhaos the Minneapolis Effect. It has arrived with a speed and intensity that make Ferguson 1.0 seems like a bucolic idyll of tranquility. The George Floyd killing by Minneapolis police has caused American cities to erupt in a volcano of contempt against the maintenance of law and order that has no precedent in American history. Not only is the violence widespread, but liberal politicans have refused to back up the police offers trying to vontrol it, basically throwing officers under the bus and endorsing calls to defind the police. And of course the all to predictable has occurred. Violence and mayhem has erupted in one city after another. And the major victims of this incontested violence are African-Americans. The casualties of police shootings largeky criminals and in almost all cases completeky justfified shootings, are now household names. The hihely larger number of black victims who are not criminals, are casualties of this insanity. They are mostly nameless victims of no interest to the Black Lives Matters Movemnent.
