This was a mixed class. I am not precisely sure at this time why the clas was mixed. Presumably this was the 5th form, perhaps with some of the brighter 6th form boys. Or perhaps there were two parts to the 6th form program and the second part was done with the 5th form. The boys would have been about 13 years old. All but a few wear the school uniform. There are 19 boys in this group and all but three wear the school unifirm. I am not positive why the uniform was not more stricky enforced. One reader suggests that only the boarders wore the uniform. I am not positive yet why this would be. The uniforms are identical and they are worn with little diferentiation. A few boys have fobs, perhaps with watches. One boy has a cross hatching affair. I am not sure what that was. We note no differentiation such as ranks--although several boys appear to have bars on their shoulders. Two boys wear coats that button at the collar while the third boy wears a rather modern-looking single breasted suit. While these three boys wear suits, none of these boys wear sailor suits as was the casee in the Sixième A form.
