HBC has obtained some comments from Greeks about the school unforms that they wore. We incourage Greek readers to
contribute their own personal comments abut their school uniform.
"With a pair of jeans from morning till night. And my Adidas back bag that I always wanted and bought from a trip in Istanbul when I was 16." -- Chrysa (girl, 1977)
"A smock that I bought from "Cinderella" and notebooks from
"Pallis". I remember that when I was in the middle of Gymnasio (highschool) and the smock was abolished the whole school was turned into a huge fashionwalk." -- Mary (girl, 1970)
"Not only a strict outfit, with grey or blue trousers and
white shirt, but also with nails and hair cut before school started." -- Kostas (boy, 1959)
"The smock was always clean and ironed, the collar white and
a ribbon on the hair. The only mark of spruce could be a nice dress or skirt that could be briefly seen under the smock" -- Kaiti (1950, girl)
