South African School Garments: Blazers Worn with Khaki Shorts


Figure 1.-- The boy's school school here has a green and maroon striped blazer with yellow which is worn with the schools khaki shorts.

The one significant difference we have noted between South African and English school blazers is that several schools in South Africa wore them with khaki shorts. Notice the boy here. He also has a khaki shirt, wgich was almost never seem in England. This was almopst never seen in England where blazers for school were normally worn with grey or black short or long trousers.
