The children look quite well dress, especially for children at a rural village school. Many of the children seem quite smartly dressed. We see all kinds of outfits. The girls wear dresses, some with pinafores. The boys wear smocks, tunics and a variety of shirts and jackets. Smocks after World war became a required school uniform, but here only a few boys wear a pinafore-style smock. Notice the boy wearing a tunic wears a leather belt over it. Two children have sailor outfits. Two boys have large floppy bows. The boys seems to be wearing kneepants and knickers. All the children wear shoes and stockings.
