Carnation, better known for canned milk, was promoting instant milk crystals in the 1950s. A boy is pictured enjoying a glass with a "milk moustache". He wears a plaid shirt and what looks to b a green cardigan sweater, unfortunately the outfit is obscured by the ad copy. Carnation used a photogeneic red-headed boy, Eddie Hodges, for the ad. Eddie was a well-know child movie actor at the time. Instant milk is stll sold, but has never proved very popular in America.
