United States Boy Choirs: St Thomas Boy Choir

Figure 1.--Here we have a photograph of the St. Thomas Boy Choir in 1927. It was located in Hollywood California. Unfortunately we know nothing more about the choir. It is a local church choir. The sang in choir robes, but I don't believe that they had any other uniform.

Here we have a photograph of the St. Thomas Boy Choir in 1927. It was located in Hollywood California. Unfortunately we know nothing more about the choir. It is local church choir. They sang in choir robes, but I don't believe that they had any other uniform. The photograph was inscribed on the back, "Christmas Greetings From Your Rector and Friend". I think that means that it was Anglican church as does the cross in the photograph. A reader writes, "This is definitely an Episcopal Church choir. The boy choristers wear standard Anglican-style vestments--cassock and surplice." The St. Thomas Church is still active in Hollywood, but I do not know about the Choir.
