Paarl Boys' Primary School is a boys only school located in Paarl, Western Cape. We notice the boys at the School during 1955. The school uniform was white shirts and what looks like grey short pants. The boys are all barefoot, very common in South Africa. The boys are carrying their desks as part of the move to a new building. It is a public school, although we are not entirely sure what that term means
in South Africa. The School still is exists and like many South African schools has an active sports program, rather like a British prep school. The school has a strict dress code for every sports activity. The winter sports are rugby and hockey. The summer sports are cricket, athletics, swimming, golf and tennis.
