Singapore schools have gym or phusical education progrms. The programs ar primary schools are often informal. The econdary schools have formal programs. Gym suits at secondary schools are simple 'T'-shirts or singlets and short pants. Both boys and girls wear these uniforms. They are done in the school colors, meaning a wide range of color combinations are used. The 'T'-shirts have the name of the school printed on them. Two important schools have the school nivkname printed on them. St, Joseph's Institution has 'Josephian' printd on awhire 'T'-shirt. Victoria School has 'Victorian' printed on the 't'-shirt. This is different from the usual school names which are typically printed on the gym uniform 'T'-shirt. Singlets were very common in the 1970s and are still worn at sone schools, but now 'T'shirts are more common.
