Teachers can arrange a wide range of field trips. This will depend to a large extent on the age of the children, and the imagination of the teacher. The possibilities are virtually endless. There are several different types of trips which can ply to studentinteres as well as bring the subjects being studfied to life.
-- Business visits include tours of factories, farms, orchards, newspapers, or businesses from banks to bakeries to understand production processes and economic principles.
-- Cultural trips include visits to museums, art galleries, and historical sites. Here the children learn about history and culture.--Government visits include visits to government locations like state capitols, city halls post offices, and police stations. This of course will depend on the location of the school.
-- Nature trips include visits to parks, caves, zoos, nature reserves, beaches, estuaries, landmarks, fish hatcheries, animal shelterts, and botanical gardens to study ecosystems and wildlife.
-- Science locations: Some of the most popular science locations like rocket launching are only available in a few locations, but science locations are more widely disperse and include weather stations, geological sites, fish hatcheries, dams, power palnts, nurseries, planetariums, high tech corporations, recycling stations, and water sanitation facilities.
- Social services might include state hospitals, Head Start Centers, food banks, and nursing homes.
In addition to the schools location, the age of the children is important. Younger children can enjoy trips to business, farms, fire stations, and zoos. Older students can visit historical sites, museums, art galleries, recycling centers, science centers, TV or radio stations aquariums, and much more.
