Japanese School Gym Programs: Non-Competitive Games


Figure 1.--Here we see Japanese children engaged in a non-competitive game of skipping rope. We believe that this is part of a gym class. Notice the brightly colored caps.

We notice children involved in non-competive ganmes for gym. One such activity is skipping rope. We are unsure just how common this was. Nor do we yet have much information on other games. Again we see children dividing up into groups with brightly colored caps.
