A traditional treat was the Punch and Judy shows on the beach. They were commonly done right on the beach are very nearby. The Punch and Judy theaters were mobil and easy to set up virtually anywhere. They were somnething the children really looked forward to seeing after playing in the sand. This is a bedach trsdition that hasd continued virtually unchanged drom the 19th century. They are less common today, but have not disappeared.
