We notice special events being organized for newsboys sponsored by their papers as a reward for their work. We do not have a lot of information on this. These may include picnics and other special events. This varied from paper to paper. We notice a cabinet card photograph of a specal train with a banner, 'Newsboys Outing'. We are not sure where they are going, but suspect a picnic out into the countryside. It klooks like mothers abd sisters are coming along. The mount style suggests it was taken about 1905. It is a new style mount where the place and studio is not identified.
