We see a 1937 press photo of Esther Gordon and her son Harold Mussman. We have no idea who she is , but was presumably of some prominence or the press would not have photographed her. Harold is the child from her first marriage. Harold looks to be about 5-years old. He wears a white beret and a blue sailor suit. It is a button-on suit. The sailor blouse buttoned on to the pants. Bitton-on outfits were a popular style for younger boys. Berets often called tams were commonly worn by girls during the inter-War era. They were not very common for boys, but mothers did buy thenm for youngr boys when dressing them up.
