The boy's name is something like Edwin Palunier. A British reader tells us is more likely Edwin Pallner. We always give more priority on these name issues to readers from the country involved. He was photogrphed July 5, 1877. Edwin has long hair but it is not done in ringlets. He wears a sailor suit wih white collar and a vest.

English Boy: Edwin Pallner (England, 1877)

This English CDV idenified the boy, but the writing is not clear. The boy's name is something like Edwin Palunier. A British reader suggest that Edwin Pallner is more likely. He is probably correct. Local reades have a beer idea as to common names. Edwin was photographed July 5, 1877. Edwin has long hair but it is not done in ringlets. He wears a sailor suit wih white collar and a vest. He has lace up high-top shoes. He is 5 yars old. We might have gussed that he was a little younger. Edwin holds a whip, a studio prop often given to boys. The studio is J. MaclArdy in Oswestry in Shropshire, near the Welsh border.
