We see a range of English outfits that have a military look to them. Unlike sailor suits, they were not done to look like actual British military uniforms. But they have styling detailing commonly found with military uniforms. We note striping, sttykled collrs, epsulettes, styled cuffs, pants stripes, and otherb features. We are not entirely sure how to describe these outfits as they were not mock ups of actual English uniforms, only outfits that had a military look to them. We see quite a number of outfits in the 1870s, after this the sailor suit becomes the dominant military style worn by English boys. Here we have a range of oufits and variations in the extent of military detailing utilized on the outfits. These uniform styles might be include in the fancy suit section.
