Unidentified Irish Family (1890s)



Figure 1.--Here we see a Dublin mother and her fice childrem. They are a girl and four boys about 3-12 years of age. We notice another unidentified family, this one in Dublin, also probably in the 1890s. . The boys are all dressed in sailor suits. Three of the boys wear the same plain sailor suits without any stripe detailing. The older boys wears a fancier suit. The portrait is not dated, but mother's dress suggests the 1890s. The studio was Lauder Bros. in Dublin.
