We have very little information on the gmes played by Japanese children. We see them playing many of the same games played by Western children. Here we see Japanese children playing what looks like hop-scotch in 1890. The field is drawn differently than the one I remember American girls using. Perhaps this is a traditional Japanese gane. We assume that there were also a range of traditional Japanese games, but we know nothing about them at this time. Hopefully our Japanese readers will provide more information.
