Swedish Summer Camps: Uniforms



Figure 1.--This ohotograph was taken at a summer camp near Stockholmduring 1938. Here the boys seem go be helping with the cooking. Nitice the striped shorts.

We note some boys wearing uniforms like American children wore at summer camp. We are not sure, however, just how common this was at Swedish camps. In America, this was most common at the camps for well-to-do children. I'm not sure if this was the same in Sweden. Here we see boys with a camp uniform of striped shorts (figure 1).
