It has one of he many new mount styles that became poular after the turn-of-the 20th century, often with brownish or greyish shades. It was sent as a Christmas greeting to a friend or family member in 1910 -- Mrs. Chas Litchfield. There are seven family members. Mom and dad are George H. and we believe Winnie M. White. The children look to be about 1-13 years old. Here we have younger girls, but older teens also wore hair bows. They are Edwina F., Rowina A., Merle H, Losin N. and Louise A. The girls wears white dresses and what we think would have been called a sailor dress. The most notable feature is the hair bows the girls are sporting. The 1910s were the peak of popularity for hair bows. Some girls had huge bows. Merle wears a tunic suit. This was a popular style for boys in the 1910s decsdes.
